One day, sitting around playing cards with the guys & gals in the lounge at Purdue University Calumet, it occurred to me that my buddies & I have been playing the same games over and over again day in and day out. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Spades, Hearts, Euchre, Pinochle, Gin, Rummy 500, and Bridge, but none of those games seemed entertaining (or even feasible) enough for five players. That was one of the reasons I came up with Call Deuces. It was a fun game, easily convertible to a four-player version, and I thought to myself "I can't be unique in this, if I can make up a fun game, then other people can, too." So, I created this website to both share my game with the World (or at least the world wide web), and to draw out other creative people into submitting their games as well. Here, now is Simon's New Card Games website. |
